Reigate College is GDPR compliant when storing and using data for both its students and parents. GDPR is overseen by the Information Commissioner’s Office, the address is at the bottom of this statement. It is intended to give everyone more confidence in the security of data and reassure Reigate College users that the data is responsibly gathered, securely stored and fairly processed, and that all this is done to a high level of transparency and accountability.

The information Reigate College holds for parents includes your normal contact details: Name, address, e-mail, telephone numbers. For students we also hold additional data we require for your attendance on courses, and of course for your safety while at the college.

We undertake to store all contact information accurately and securely and to store and process it for your benefit as a parent or a student at the College.

You can ask us at any time to give you a copy of the contact details we keep for you and you can make any corrections.

When using the Personal Information Portal (PIP) and Payments as a parent you will be given an account for which you have to set your own password and this is not known to the college. Students and staff will be using their college network logins and passwords. Again, Reigate College does not have access to these passwords. You must not share your login details with any third party (including your son or daughter).

Your information is confidential and will only be shared with our authorised personnel at Reigate College. We undertake not to share information with other organisations unless required for statutory or examination reasons.
